Removal of the Libby.

Mr. Hallowell, an architect of Washington, has been here for some time past making such drawings and specifications of the Libby Prison as will enable the workmen to take it down and rebuild it in Chicago so as to preserve the present appearance and structure. He has an office in the building, and has made good progress in his work.

The removal will be begun early in the spring.

A tall fence has been built on the Dock and Cary-street fronts of the old prison, and all who now enter it have to pay an admission fee.
