To Be Railed In. – The open space each side of the bridge crossing the canal, at the foot of 8th street, is to be railed in so as to prevent any more people from walking into the canal at the spot indicated. Last Sunday, it will be remembered, the bodies of two unfortunate men were fished out of the canal at this place. The railing, which, it is hoped, will prevent the recurrence of any more such accidents, will be put up by order of the Canal company.
