Prison Items. – The following arrests have been made by the military police since Saturday: P. W. Ward, a bogus Lieutenant; John Veck, and Henry Skinner, soldiers, for desertion; John C. Donnolly, company C, 53d North Carolina, for substituting and deserting from his company; C. B. Hummell, a Yankee, taken in Stafford county September 28th, and C. H. Marsh, another Yankee, taken in Culpeper August 9th, were removed from the Libby Prison on Saturday and put in Castle Thunder, to be tried as spies.
