From the Richmond Dispatch, 10/30/1860, p. 1, c. 5
The Iron Bridge, over the Dock, at the foot of 17th street, is, we are gratified to state, nearly completed at last, and persons having business in that neighborhood will soon enjoy facilities that they have been long deprived of. Besides, the oyster fleet has become quite numerous, and the prospect of easy access to the boats is a matter of public congratulation.
