BATTERY No. 1, RICHMOND DEFENCES,
August 8th, 1862.
NINETY DOLLARS REWARD. – DESERTERS. – Deserted from my company on or about the 31st July, Privates ROBT. T. HOLLOWAY, THOMAS H. TYNES, and SAMUEL T. SEWARD.
The said Holloway is about 32 years of age, 6 feet high, light hair, fair complexion, and red beard.
Tynes is about 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches high, sharp features, and thin beard.
Seward is about 19 years of age, 6 feet 8 inches high, fair complexion, and sparsely made.
They are supposed to have gone to Surry county, as they all hail from that place. $30 reward will be paid for each one if delivered to Capt. Alexander, A. P. M., Richmond, or to me, at Battery No. 1.
