Confederate States District Court – Judge Halyburton presiding. This Court met at the usual hour yesterday morning; but there being no cases ready to be acted on, it was only in session a short while.
Frederick W. Boyd’s habeas corpus case was postponed. Boyd was arrested some time since upon the charge of offering a bribe detective Craddock into silence with regard to certain alleged defalcations in the Treasury Department, and claims his trial before a civil instead of a military tribunal.
