From the Richmond Dispatch, 4/10/1863, p. 1, c. 4
Arrived. – The Danville cars brought to this city at 2 ½ o’clock yesterday morning, 312 Abolition prisoners of war, the remainder of the 750 captured recently by Gen. Forrest at Brentwood, Tenn. Included in the lot were 21 commissioned officers. The officers and privates were Western men. The latter did not look squallid like down Best Yankees. They will be sent home at an early day.
