The Escaped Prisoners. – Since our last report, five more of the Yankee prisoners who escaped from the Libby Prison, have been recaptured. Among them is Lieutenant Colonel S. N. Walker, who, overcome by fatigue, surrendered, on the York River Railroad, to the Surgeon of the 15th Virginia Cavalry, and has been brought back with the other and re-instated in his prison quarters.
It is reported, and generally believed, the Colonel Streight has been recaptured, and in resisting his captors was badly, if not mortally wounded. No definite information had been received from him at the Libby up to a late hour yesterday evening. We may add that the above report was credited at the Prison.
