From the Richmond Examiner, 4/8/1863

SOME OF OUR CITIZENS. - Two of the Yankee prisoners, who were recently released on their parole on subscribing to the oath of allegiance to the Confederate States, were yesterday brought up the river, under arrest, having been caught in an attempt to make their escape to their real friend, the Yankee pickets in that direction. Their names are Richard Fitzmorrie and Harvey Simmons. They were sent to their old quarters, the Libby, and afterwards sent to the Castle.

Their trial before a court martial will demonstrate the fact whether there be anything more than form in the law punishing breach of oath and parole, as applied to Yankees.
