THE CONVICT-KILLING CASE. – David Murphy, who was indicted by the grand jury of Henrico for murdering a convict while acting as guard at Chimborazo Park, was before Justice Larus yesterday. He was allowed bail in the sum of $500, and in default was committed to jail to await trial. Coleman was killed while attempting to escape.
