Mr. A. S. Bradley.

Mr. A. S. Bradley, an aged resident of Richmond, was found dead in his room yesterday morning at his residence, No. 202 East Cary Street. He was seventy-four years of age.

Mr. Bradley had been in ill-health for some time. He was an artist by profession and was for many years with Anderson, the photographer, where he was known to many, and highly esteemed.

Mr. Bradley’s wife died six years ago. He is survived by three children. His daughter is Mrs. A. S. Cary, of this city, and his sons are Messrs. F. E. Bradley, of Statesville, N. C., and Percy Bradley, of Washington.

Mr. Bradley served in the Confederate army, and had an excellent record for bravery and attention to duty.

Mr. Bradley was born on the estate of his parents down the river, in Chesterfield county. He served with gallantry in the Confederate artillery as a member of the Richmond Howitzers. After the war he took up art photography, which business he pursued successfully until age and declining health caused his retirement.
