THE MAILS ALL RIGHT. – The troubles which occurred in the postoffice on yesterday, have in no manner interfered with the regular business of the office. The mail was all distributed and forwarded as usual, except that a little more labor was imposed upon the retained employes. We presume Miss Van Lew will be kept quite busy considering applications for the positions made vacant by the strikers. Such positions never go begging, and we have no idea any difficulty will be experienced in obtaining competent assistants at even less than that paid those who have resigned.
