Seek Body of Child in Canal.
Police are endeavoring to locate the body of a child which was discovered floating in the canal, near the Tredegar Iron Works, yesterday. It sank beneath the surface and an effort will be made to drain the water to find the body. Witnesses could not determine whether it was the body of a white or colored infant.
