Dear Sir
We shall soon require belting for our new Gun Mill, and shall find great difficulty in obtaining it unless we can obtain assistance from you. The leather recently made in the Confederacy is very inferior for such a purpose and we write to inquire if you could not supply us the belting, or send us the leather for making it. We hear that you have some English Leather & hope you may be able to spare us what is indispensable.
Very respectfully
J. R. Anderson & Co.
