Work of the Ambulance.
The ambulance was called yesterday to the Tredegar Iron-Works, to attend a colored man named Martin Lancaster, who had the end of the second finger of his right hand cut off by machinery. His wound was dressed, and he was left at the works.
There was a second call, to the Richmond Iron-Works, where Jeter Brown (colored), while at work, fell from a derrick, a distance of 30 feet, striking on his head. He is in a serious condition, having suffered concussion of the brain by the fall.
