Mayor’s Court. – On Saturday Patrick Staunton and Dominick Gaffney were required to give security on the charge of assaulting Tandy Gibson with intent to rob; two soldiers were sent before the Provost Marshal for getting drunk, firing off their muskets in the street, and resisting the police; Charles, slave of Joseph R. Anderson, was ordered to be whipped for having in his possession a lot of iron rods, supposed to have been stolen.
