Mayor’s Court, Saturday, Jan. 24. - …David Jones, who works at the Tredegar foundry, was summoned up at the instance of Samuel Maguire, who charged him with being the owner of a vicious dog that, on last Wednesday night, had bitten him without provocation, while peaceably pursuing his way along one of the public streets of the city. Mr. Jones was fined $5 for allowing his dog to get into the street, and an order was entered condemning the brute to be summarily disposed of if it was not removed from the city immediately.
