THE TREDEGAR IRON WORKS are, as many of our citizens will be glad to learn, once more in full blast and prepared to fill orders of every description. The old Iron King, Jos. R. Anderson, is at the head of the establishment which will give employment to many a worthy artisan, and carry life and light to many a homestead. General Anderson has a world-wide reputation as a man of enterprise and honor, an his generosity and kindness have endeared him to all our citizens. We know the Tredegar will be as great a success in the future as it has been in the past, and we hope its furnace fires may blaze long and high, for it is to such enterprises that the people of Richmond must look for the recovery of the position it once held as a manufacturing city
