MORE YANKEE WOUNDED GONE. – Still another lot of Yankee wounded were sent off yesterday, via railroad, to City Point, en route for the North. But few remain now, and these few, who are the desperately wounded, will doubtless, find their release in a few days from a power higher than the Confederate authorities.

The mortality among the Yankee wounded so far has been upwards of fifty per cent. This is accounted for by the fact that, neglected by their own surgeons, they lay on the battle-field several days before any attention could be paid to their wounds by our surgeons, and then in a great many cases it was too late to effect any good by amputation and other surgical operations. Neuralgia and gangrene have been very frequent and fatal among them. In the latter disease the patient, as the malady progresses, goes off in a comatose state, surviving several days after all the faculties have ceased to operate.
