Caught. – William Campbell, a member of the Washington artillery, who has made himself notorious by deserting his comrades and escaping from the military prison in this city two or three times, was rearrested yesterday in Butchertown by Detectives Maccubbin, Mitchell, and Gooddick. – Campbell drew a pistol on being accosted, and swore he would not be taken alive. Finding the officer in earnest, he determined to give leg bail, and ran off, but was pursued and captured near Broad street, above the Central Depot.
