VIRGINIA NEWS.

Two large framed buildings in the extreme eastern portion of Richmond, known during the days of the Confederacy as Chimborazo Hospital, were burned down on Thursday. These houses have been occupied since the evacuation, by negroes. They have relied chiefly upon the Freedmen’s Bureau for sustenance since the establishment of that institution. By the conflagration many have been rendered houseless.
