Darkey in Uniform. – One of the Detectives of the Provost Marshal yesterday arrested a darkey on 9th street, named Horace Holmes, who, at the time, was clothed in the new uniform jacket and pantaloons of a Confederate 1st Lieutenant. Being taken to the Marshal, he said he had purchased both articles, and did not know it was any harm to wear them. The gold lace and other insignia of rank was removed, and the darkey admonished, and permitted to slope.
