ESCAPE AND CAPTURE OF A CONVICT. – William Sutherland, a convict, who was sent to the penitentiary for robbing the store of E. B. Spence & Son, escaped from Chimborazo Park Saturday afternoon, where he was working for the city. The guard fired at him, but none of the shots took effect. Sunday morning Sutherland was arrested by Officers Hardie and Ogilvie while leisurely walking down Main street, and yesterday was delivered to the penitentiary authorities.
