RECAPTURED. - Last Tuesday morning John H. Scribner and a free negro, from Frederick, Md., prisoners at Castle Thunder, made their escape from that institution, by boldly walking out of the front door. On Thursday night, Capt. McCubben, of the detective police, found and arrested Scribner in the loft of Head's livery stable, near the corner of 18th and Franklin streets. - The negro was found at Stokes' jail, where Scribner had put him to be sold. Scribner formerly kept the Rebel House, under the Exchange Hotel, and came originally from New Jersey. - He was confined in the Castle for desertion.
