Shooting Guns in the Corporation. – Certain soldiers, in barracks near the York River Depot, are in the habit of amusing themselves by shooting pigeons on Dock street with shotguns. Monday evening some shot struck a horse drawing a buggy containing a lady and gentleman, and the consequence was he ran away, and, besides demolishing the vehicle, like to have killed its occupants. – Shooting off guns in the corporation is punishable by fine by the Mayor under the city ordinance.
