From the Richmond Whig, 6/6/1848, p. 3, c. 5

AT a meeting of the Stockholders of the Tredegar Iron Company, held on the 27th May, 1848, the following notice was ordered to be published for three months, in such of the newspapers of this city, as the President shall direct.

“The Tredegar Iron Company having sold its property, and proposing to close its business and to divide its capital, notice thereof is hereby given to all persons who may have claims against the Company, in order that they may produce their claims before the President and Directors, on or before the first day of December next.”
