Mayor’s Court, Monday, March 2 - …Moses, slave of J. R. Anderson, was ordered five lashes for smoking a cigar in the street.
Mackenzie, slave of Geo. Hutton and Harrison, slave of Dr. Minge, were whipped for going without passes, as prescribed by law.
