Cage Items. – The following arrests were made by the police yesterday:
Phil, slave of F. Gary, charged with stealing a watermelon from the First Market. He was examined by Justice B. T. Chandler, who ordered him twenty lashes.
Fanny, slave of Peterfield Trent, charged with interfering with officer Jenkins in the discharge of his duty and displacing a net which had been thrown over her dog.
