Hustings Court of Magistrates. – In this Court yesterday the only case of interest which came up was the charge against James and Charles Harris, free negroes; Henry, slave of Fanny Wingo, and Henry, slave of Bettie T. Tinsley, of burglarously entering, in the night time on the 25th of July, the house of Alexander R. Holladay, and stealing therefrom upwards of six thousand dollars’ worth of groceries. The two Harrises were sentenced to be sold into absolute slavery and Mrs. Tinsley’s Henry was ordered to be sold beyond the limits of the State of Virginia. Mrs. Wingo’s Henry was discharged.
